HOW TO QUALIFY

Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, and their leadership and service activity involvement. Pursuing a degree in education, a degree in music, playing a guitar or an instrument could increase your chances of receiving this $5,000 scholarship. Kate’s voice and spirit inspired students within her school district to pursue their passions. This foundation continues her legacy for all students who are embarking on this path of education.

GUIDELINES

Scholarships will be awarded based on the availability of funds, provided by contributions from fundraising events, individuals, foundations and corporate partners. 


APPLICATION CYCLE

January 1st 2026 to March 31st 2026. Scholarship recipients will be contacted by the end of May 2026 for the Fall Semester of 2026.
